We at GeoVista AB, 556420-5192, are the data controllers responsible for the processing of yourpersonal data. All of our processing of personal data is conducted in accordance with the requirements of theGeneral Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicabledataprotection laws.
GeoVista AB is the data controller for the processing of personal data carried out withinthe scope of the company’s own operations, such as human resources, customer andsupplier management, and marketing.
In certain assignments, GeoVista AB processes personal data on behalf of clients and actsas a data processor insuch cases. In these instances, the client is the data controller anddetermines the purposes and means of the processing.
What personal data we process and how
In order to offer our products and services, we may in some cases need to process your personal data. This may include information related to real estate (such as property identifiers when these can be linked to a natural person), as well as contact information in the form of names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses.
In some cases, personal data needs to be processed as part of our internal administration so that we fulfill our legal obligations, such as those under the Accounting Act.
In other cases, personal data may be needed within the scope of the assignments we undertake as part of our consulting business. In these cases, we process personal data on behalf of our clients and in accordance with their instructions, for example, to enable a client to fulfill its obligations under the Minerals Act (1991:45) or the Environmental Code (1998:808).
Your personal data will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purpose and inaccordance with applicable legal requirements—for example, seven years under the Accounting Act, or for as longas is necessary to fulfill agreements and handle any legal claims.

In order for us to fulfill our obligations, your personal data may be transferredto government agencies. It may also be disclosed to our suppliers andbusiness partners who process personal data on our behalf(data processors), or to the customer on whose behalf the data was collected.
If there is a legal obligation or a decision by a public authority, your personal data mayalso be disclosed to a third party.
Transfer to a Country Outside the EU/EEAWhen we transfer your personal data to a recipient in a country outside the EU/EEA, weensurethat appropriate safeguards are in place, such astheEuropean Commission’sStandard Contractual Clauses and other necessary safeguards. We also conduct regular risk assessments to determine what additionalsafeguards may need to be implemented to protect the personal data being transferred.
